This produces a highly consistent shaft that transfers more energy from player to ball than a conventional stepped shaft. The results are twofold: tighter shot dispersion and a unique, solid feel at impact. Flex coefficients (4.5, 6.0, etc.) correlate to the shaft s measured CPM (cycles per minute). The lower the number, the more flexible the shaft and the lower the bend point; the higher the number, the stiffer the shaft and the higher the bend point.
